Safety
Safety Center
Safety is part of the product.
Guidance, tools and channels to prevent harm, report conduct and respond to risky situations.
1. Emergencies
Vapai is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local services and move away from the situation. Do not depend on a Vapai response to keep you safe.
2. Before and during a meeting
- Chat in Vapai and do not quickly disclose your home, documents or financial details.
- Meet in public, tell someone you trust and control your own transport.
- Never send money, codes, card details or intimate content.
- Trust your boundaries; you can leave or cancel without justification.
Vapai does not perform documentary identity, age or background checks and does not guarantee another person's conduct or intentions.
3. Reporting and blocking
Reports are available in conversations, experiences and other people's profiles. Profiles offer Block. Blocking prevents interaction on surfaces where the control is deployed; until global server-side rollout is complete, do not assume it removes every historical appearance on every surface. Also report urgent separation needs.
4. Moderation and appeal
We review submitted information, available technical context and risk. Automated rules may prioritise cases and human review is available for sensitive action. We communicate receipt and outcome where possible, while protecting safety and privacy. Appeal at security@vapai.me.
5. Illegal content
Email security@vapai.me with the URL or identifier, explanation, relevant country, contact details and a good-faith statement. For intimate imagery use the specific removal process. We may preserve minimum evidence and cooperate under a valid legal obligation.
