Terms and Conditions

1. Operator, acceptance and age

These terms are an agreement between you and Raftell S.A.S., identified in the Legal Notice. When creating an account you must expressly accept the current Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Vapai is only for people aged 18 or older. Date of birth is self-declared and Vapai does not perform documentary identity, age, background or intention checks. A confirmed phone or Apple/Google sign-in does not verify identity.

2. How Vapai works

Vapai lets people discover or propose experiences, act as Host, show interest as Guest and, after acceptance, connect and chat. Vapai does not guarantee compatibility, identity, that a meeting occurs or another person's conduct.

For matching, you must choose one category for how you identify: Men, Women or Beyond Binary. You may choose one or more of the same categories for whom you are looking for; “Everyone” selects all three. These preferences are private and are used to determine mutual compatibility.

By default, Vapai searches for people aged 18 to 99 within a maximum distance of 50 km. In Settings, you can choose another age range within 18 to 99 and a distance from 1 to 200 km. These filters are private and limit the people you can explore or match with; they do not guarantee that results will always be available.

You may change how you identify once without waiting; after that, you may change it once per month. The categories for whom you are looking for, age range and maximum distance may be changed without that waiting period.

Vapai currently does not process payments, cards, bookings or refunds. It may link to an external provider in the future; purchases, cancellations and refunds would be with that provider under its terms. The current version does not automatically transfer data to experience providers.

3. Account and security

You must provide accurate information, protect account access and notify us of unauthorised use. Every account must confirm a phone number by SMS during registration. This measure helps reduce duplicate accounts, spam, fraud and abuse; it is not the main login, is not used for marketing and does not create a tick, badge or public verified-identity status.

You may not transfer, sell, automate or create deceptive accounts. We may proportionately restrict repeated or abusive registration.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of photos, bios, messages and other content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence, revocable when content is deleted and limited to hosting, technically reproducing, formatting, displaying and moderating it to operate and protect Vapai. It does not let us sell your content or use it outside those purposes.

5. Prohibited conduct

Nudity or sexual content; non-consensual intimate images and deepfakes; any sexual content involving minors; harassment, threats, extortion, hate, discrimination, impersonation, fraud, private-data publication, prostitution, sexual exploitation, trafficking, violence, illegal activity, spam, unauthorised commercial use and infringement of third-party rights are prohibited.

6. Reports, blocks and moderation

Report profiles, conversations, experiences and content in the app or through security@vapai.me. Profiles offer blocking; global server-side block enforcement depends on the technical status published in the Safety Center. Vapai may remove content, reduce visibility, suspend or close accounts and preserve minimum necessary evidence.

Decisions consider the report, available context, relevant history and severity. Automated rules or signals may prioritise work, while sensitive enforcement can receive human review. Appeal at security@vapai.me with the case identifier.

7. Meetings and experiences

Use judgment, chat in Vapai, meet in public, tell someone you trust and control your transport, drinks and belongings. Vapai does not perform background checks or guarantee the quality, safety, legality or availability of third-party experiences. Contact local services in an emergency.

8. Featured experiences

An experience may be labelled “Featured” or “Sponsored”. Payment or a commercial arrangement may influence placement. Organic and sponsored positions must be distinguishable, and placement does not mean personal data is sold or used for cross-context behavioural advertising.

9. Suspension, termination and deletion

You may stop using Vapai or delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate for a breach, serious risk, fraud, legal obligation or protection of others, using proportionate measures and explaining reasons where possible and safe. Deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

Vapai's brand, software, design and original materials belong to Raftell or its licensors. You may not copy, decompile, bypass controls or exploit the service except with permission or a mandatory legal right.

11. Availability and liability

Vapai is a pre-launch service and may change, be interrupted or contain errors. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability the law does not permit us to exclude, including fraud or gross negligence. To the extent allowed, Raftell is not liable for independent acts of users or third parties or unforeseeable indirect losses.

12. Law, changes and contact

Uruguayan law applies without taking away mandatory protections or courts available to you as a consumer in your country. We impose no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver. Material changes will be notified and renewed acceptance requested when appropriate. Contact: legal@vapai.me.
